Summer Theatre Camp: The Music Man KIDS June 1 - June 26 Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Ages 7-11 | $500 per camper Location: Manatee Performing Arts Center
Step into the spotlight this summer with our exciting two-week theatre camp designed especially for young performers! Campers ages 7-11 will dive into the world of musical theatre as they rehearse, create, and perform The Music Man KIDS—a charming and energetic adaptation of the Broadway classic.
Whether your child is a born performer or just beginning to explore the arts, this camp builds confidence and self-expression in a fun, supportive environment. Through acting, singing, dancing, and theatre games, campers gain hands-on experience in the performing arts while learning about costumes, props, stage etiquette, and more.
In addition to developing artistic skills, campers form new friendships and learn the importance of teamwork. Our program encourages cooperation, listening, and mutual support—skills that benefit children on and off the stage.
At the end of the session, family and friends are invited to a final live performance of The Music Man KIDS, showcasing everything the campers have learned. It’s a moment of pride and accomplishment they won’t forget.
Led by experienced theatre educators and artists, this camp provides high-quality instruction in a safe, welcoming environment. Space is limited and this camp fills up quickly.
