THE TWELTH ANNUAL STUDENT TEN-MINUTE PLAYWRITING FESTIVAL
Sixty-five high school students from the Gulf Coast area have submitted 53 plays for the 2024 student playwriting festival. The eight finalist plays will be brought to life May 11 at 7:30 p.m. and May 12 at 2 p.m. at the FSU/Asolo Center for the Performing Arts in Sarasota. The Festival’s Best Play as determined by a panel of judges will receive the $1,000 Verna Safron Prize. Runner-up receives $500 .
The presentation of awards will be immediately following the May 12th performance.
